Vision of VWA – Aashiana-e-Vidarbha

The Vidarbha Welfare Association (VWA), Mumbai, envisions a united and empowered community of Vidarbhians settled in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. To achieve this vision, Aashiana-e-Vidarbha — a purpose-driven community building — is being developed to serve as a central hub for a wide range of welfare activities, support services, and development programs.

This landmark project is designed to address the social, educational, medical, and economic needs of the community through the following key facilities and initiatives:

• Multi-purpose Function Hall for community events, meetings, and celebrations.
• Hostel accommodation for students and job seekers arriving from Vidarbha.
• Temporary housing for patients and their relatives seeking medical treatment in Mumbai.
• Dedicated study room and library for students preparing for competitive exams.
• Scholarship & Career Guidance Center to support educational journeys.
• Skill Development & Training Center offering short-term vocational courses.
• Health Awareness Center to provide medical guidance and organize health camps.
• Women Empowerment Center to foster skill development and self-reliance.
• Zakat Collection Center for organized and transparent zakat distribution.
• Business Loan Support and Entrepreneurial Encouragement Programs.
• Medical Help & Scholarship Distribution Center to assist the underprivileged.
• Marriage Bureau & Marriage Hall to support matrimonial services within the community.
• Central Office of Vidarbha Welfare Association for administration and outreach.
• Support for competitive exam aspirants (UPSC, MPSC, IIT, NEET, etc.).
• Financial assistance and guidance for launching new business ventures.
